Privacy Policy

Flarebird is built so that we know as little about you as possible. There is no account, no analytics and no tracking.
What we store on our server
- Your random device key (the part of your URL after the slash).
- The push token Apple gives your iPhone, so we can deliver notifications.
- A hash of your device secret, to verify that requests to manage your device come from your iPhone.
- Your iPhone's language, to send error messages in your language.
- Dates: when the device was registered, last opened the app and last received a notification, plus a counter of notifications sent.
What we never store
- The content of your notifications: titles, messages, links and images pass through our server to Apple and are immediately forgotten.
- Your name, email, phone number or any account information — there is no account.
- Your location, contacts or anything else on your device.
- Server logs contain only a result code and the last 6 characters of your push token.
What stays on your iPhone
Your notification history, images and settings are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. Deleting the app deletes them.
Retention and deletion
Device records expire automatically 180 days after you last open the app. You can delete everything instantly from Settings → "Delete my device", and rotate your URL at any time.
Service providers
We use Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database) and Apple Push Notification service (delivery). They process the minimum data listed above solely to run Flarebird. We don't sell or share data with anyone else.
Aggregate statistics
We count how many notifications are sent per day in total. This number is anonymous and never linked to a device.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
Children
Flarebird doesn't knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
